Brilliant ideas – brands from Rhineland-Palatinate
What do Audi cars and Pfaff sewing machines have to do with Rhineland-Palatinate? The answer to this question can be found in the new special exhibition on the new direction taken by the Koblenz Regional Museum, which presents the inventors and innovations of the last 200 years.
The "Stations of the Fortress history" experience route also offers an exciting journey through time.
It follows the exhibition "5,000 years of Ehrenbreitstein" e.g. to the fortress cannons, the gunsmithy and other stations, right up to the highest and lowest point of the Fortress: the flag tower. There the viewing platform provides a spectacular panorama and down below the multimedia show "3,000 years as a fortification" is impressive. Take a walk with the audio guide through the fortress and have the explanations at over 40 locations "whispered" in your ear.
Entry tickets are available at the Koblenz cable car ticket office, also as a combined ticket for the cable car/entrance to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress.
*Note: Please note that as of November the exhibition rooms and the Museum are open only on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
